The European Basis Skills Network will set up very soon the first Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on the themes that are most relevant for our members. In order to initiate SIGs in the most interesting topics we would like to ask our members to select the most appropriate for you from the list below. Each SIG will have one leader and 2 leadership assistants.

Please fill out the list below indicating the topic and role you are interested in. We expect engagement from the participants, so we suggest you choose maximum two groups! Thank you!

What is an EBSN SIG, and what does it do?
An EBSN SIG is a thematic interest group which has two main goals:
• general discussion and exchange of experience among the SIG members
• contribution to the preparation of policy level MOOCs within their specific theme. This contribution will consist of:
o identification of training needs in the sector (policy level or right below)
o contribution to preliminary course design (decision on length, content, structure)
o identification of existing “building blocks” (including resources already uploaded to EPALE)
o identification of missing resources that need to be created
o creation of a beta-version of a preliminary pilot course
